This dress I want for myself. It's one of my absolute favorite items I made for STYLO.
The pattern calls for knit fabric, so I took a well fitting woven bodice pattern and lined up which size would best fit Zoe. Then I mashed the size 7 width with the size 6 length to make it. I didn't add any buttons or zippers cause I wanted this to just slip on. With the boatneck, it's very easy for her to slip on over her head.
I didn't follow the pattern instructions for the bodice either. It's fully lined, so I used the Tobago Straps construction (You will have to join the Scientific Seamstress lab group to see the video) to make it. It's easily becoming one of my favorite ways to construct dresses!
I absolutely adore how these pictures from My Kind of Wonderful Photography turned out. We're having to get all of them printed off and framed!
We have already made Paisley a floral dress from this and have another one almost finished!
