Puperita Showcase

Hello everyone! I've been part of a secret for a while now and today's the day that we get to share our love to an amazing person and designer, Annalisa from Puperita!
I've been a huge fan of her's since the day she started up her pattern company and have absolutely loved seeing her business grow! She is one of the most sincere and sweet people I know in the sewing world and I'm so glad she's a part of it!
So today, to honor her I made the Tweet Tweet Dress. One of my favorite patterns of hers!

The fabric is Art Gallery, Nisi Flora Oceanon that I bought from Phat Quarters. It's almost the last of my hoard/stash!
I did change up the pattern by omitting the collar and lining the bodice. I absolutely love the silhouette of this dress and the simplicity of it. For the back I used snaps. I blame my indecisiveness and the fact that I had the perfect color snaps in my stash.

If you haven't tried Puperita Patterns before, you should! They are so well made and fit impeccably and you cannot beat the price! Annalisa is also so helpful when I've had questions. You can join her Facebook group here. :D

Another pattern favorite of mine is the Dragon Vest. Coolest.Pattern.Ever. I have to also show off the Bright Messenger Bag I made for STYLO last year. The girls always have their stash of favorite things (lip gloss, rocks, bugs, lalaloopsies) in it.

And to show off even more Puperita love, here's the first Tweet Tweet Dress I made. I can't believe that Aevarie is almost out of the sizing on it!

Make sure to check out everyone in the showcase today!

  3. What a gorgeous dress! Such vivid colours. I have this pattern. In fact, I had it since the say it was released and my girlie was way too little for it back then. I simply must sew it for her now! Your previous version with piping is gorgeous also. Agree with Emi on the rockinness factor of the Dragon vest :)
