Adelyn's Aquarium Dress

A few years ago my mother dragged me to a yard sale. Yard sales really aren't my thing  (don't judge!) but for this particular one, I was very thrilled to go! There were TONS of fabric on bolts and they were super cheap! This Tropical Fish print from Cranston was there along with some awesome My Little Pony, that one day I will be brave enough to cut into.

I bought the Adelyn's Scoop Back Top & Dress the moment it was released. I kept going back and forth between which fabrics to use, but kept coming back to these tropical fish. They're so summery and fun and I just couldn't resist it!

I adore this fabric. Mostly because it's beachy and I love the beach. I also loved being able to mix some knit with woven. My woven stash has been dwindling quite a bit with how much I sew with knit, so it was so nice being able to use some to match! It was such a quick sew too. It's the perfect summer dress!

Hopefully I'll be able to get one more item sewn up in time to show off during Kid's Clothes Week. But next week will be blowing up with items for our "Make Laundry, Don't do Laundry" tour. I can't wait!

 Happy 1st week of Summer!!!
