St. Jude Fighter Tee

I am so excited that Kelly, from Handmade Boy, asked me to be on her St. Jude Fighter Tee tour. My youngest, Jude, is partly named after St. Jude. (The other part is because of the Beatles song, Hey Jude.) I love everything this tour stands for and I am so honored to be a part of it!

Kelly not only decided to sign up as a runner to raise $1000 for St. Jude Children's Hospital, she also decided to bring her love of sewing into it too, and with the help of Tami, from Love Notions, made the The Fighter Tee Pattern with all proceeds going to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
If you've not ever heard, St. Jude's is a hospital dedicated in helping children fight life threatening illnesses. No family is ever given a bill. It's really amazing what they do.

So more about the pattern!
The Fighter Tee is a unisex pattern with a relaxed fit and features side accent panels on the body and sleeves. It comes in sizes 2T-12 and works great with knits with drape, such as athletic fabrics but, as you can see with Zoe's, it's great in Cotton Lycra too!
It's set at $5 and 100% of the proceeds go to St. Jude's Reasearch Hospital. It's seriously such a great deal and is also going to such an amazing cause!
You can grab your copy here on etsy.

I made Zoe's in Raspberry Creek Club Fabric's Floral Stripes paired with solid grey knit from Riley Blake Designs. I really love this floral! The pattern was very easy to put together and it fit so well!

You can check out everyone on tour to get tons of great inspiration!
