Llama Face

This little guy is such a nut. He's a sweetheart and a real gentleman, but man he makes me laugh as well! When I got this Llama fabric, this kiddo didn't even give me a chance to get it out of the package before screaming, "LLAMAS!!!!" and claiming it for himself. I have to say, I'm pretty sure Llama's are his spirit animal.

The main fabric is from Run Amok Fabric's Hodge Podge line. Obviously it's even better because it was printed on STRIPES! We may be really big stripe fans over here....
And we all know how big Mustard is for the fall!

I obviously had to use my Cricut Maker to add some Iron-on vinyl to the sleeve. I know it's a bit difficult to read but it adds a bit of fun to it.
Too, the font is named "Karley", so it was just meant to be.
You can make it in Design Space using a Cricut. ;)

How adorable are those Llamas though?? For real?
I decided to make a video of me sewing this Titchy Threads Safari Raglan tee, so if you want to see the sped up 5.5 minute version, along with some of my tips, check out the video below!

Since we're almost to fall, I couldn't stop at just the Safari Raglan and we had to make a jacket too!

I used the Ollie Bomber Jacket pattern. This pattern is one of our fall staples, just like Titchy Threads are. I always love how each one turns out!

The bands and lining is in Solid Grey Knit from Riley Blake Designs. And since we're pointing out everything about this outfit, the jeans are Titchy Threads Small Fry Skinny Jeans that I made for Paisley when she was going into Kindergarten. That girl just started 3rd grade! How did that even happen???
The denim is some stretch denim from Joanns and has clearly held up so well! Anyone have a time machine so I can go back and stock pile that goodness???

I adore my little Llama and am so glad he loves my sewing so much. If you were to tell me that only one of my kids would end up continuing my love of sewing, this kiddo would be my guess on which one that would be. He definitely has a love of the whole process and is always in my sewing room with me.

I'll be sharing more of his "Back to School Outfits" next week.
If there's anything you would like to see in one of my video's, let me know! Now that I have some kid free time I may even start throwing in some talking!
