Project Run & Play February Challenge

I love participating in Project Run & Play. How can I not?? I love having challenges and all the link ups always gives such great inspiration.
This months challenge was a muscle shirt. I know it's been warm here, but we aren't quite ready for summer shirts. So I decided that I would make it a sweatshirt.
I had intended this to be for Paisley, but dudes, that girl is a bird. She is tiny. I adjusted the neck and arm holes for sleeves, but the rest is the original pattern. This is one good thing about having Zoe and Paisley a year apart. If it doesn't fit one, it usually fits the other. LOL

I freezer stenciled the Zodiac Sagittarius sign on for Paisley. She'll grow into it soon enough and I love how it turned out.
I used some super yummy french terry knit that I got while out shopping with a couple of awesome fellow bloggers. I WISH they had had more. One, it was $3 a yard and it's such a perfect weight. I just love it. While we're on the subject of yummy fabric, did you see her awesome leggings???
I got that fabric during New Years in Vegas having a blast with my bestie. I love the colors and the print and wish I had gotten enough to make myself a pair of leggings out of it.
I used Ellie Inspired's legging pattern that I can't seem to find a link for, but somehow it's in my patterns. LOL

So that's it for us! Make sure to check out all the other fun link-ups!!

  1. Nice sweater, the color is beautiful! My kids have a bit more months between them but also in our house some sewn projects have jumped receiver.
