Have you heard!?!? Art Gallery Fabrics has a new line of denim prints and solids and they're absolutely amazing. When I saw the preview, I knew I wanted to put together a tour. Sort of like a virtual runway for everyone to "ooh" and "ahh" over it all. I searched for some amazingly talented seamstresses to help Art Gallery strut that denim. We're all banding together to bring you something really great and to inspire you to create with your new Art Gallery Denim.

Escaping Winter

 We've been lucky the last few years with the warm winters we've been getting. Well, I say lucky, but I don't think the farmers around us has shared that feeling. LOL

I'm a massive wimp and get cold very easily, so since it's been cold since October, I had to have a break. We took a road trip down to Grandma's house. Namely to her hot tub.

Sisboom Sally Dress

I cannot tell you how incredibly excited I am for the release of this dress!

Last year I was part of STYLO magazine and this dress was just in the baby stages of being made. I adore the Angie dress (the adult version) and could not wait for the kids to come out!

Metallic All Spice

What better way to start the new year then with a Resewlution? All last year I had been dying to hack my All Spice dress and make it so the button placket was in the back, so it worked perfectly that this would be my first make for 2016. I got the Prisma Elements fabric from Phat Quarters. I adore that shop!

New Year Re-SEW-lutions

I've been thinking about this for quite a while. Last year there was a lot of "sew-your-stash" and "sew-your-pattern-stash" resolutions going on and I miserably failed at those. But then as 2015 was quickly coming to an end I couldn't help but look back at all the things I had PLANNED to make and for one reason or another, didn't. 

They were things I still really want to make, so they are being bumped up in priority this year. Some are patterns I really want to sew up. Others are just a style I want to go for and then some are skills I want to learn. 

Then I thought, how can I have more fun with this? That's when I decided it's going to be a year long sew-along. If you sew something up that you've always wanted to, link it up (I will have a monthly link up each month)! 

I may have some surprises along the way....
