Have you heard of Willow & Co? They released their first collection: Wanderlust last month. I got to test 4 of the patterns (which I will be showing off on another day) but chose to make up one I didn't test for the tour.
I chose to make the Ash Jumpsuit by Celina from Petit a Petit and Family and I did make a couple of changes.
First change is that I made it out of jersey knit. I love knit, and after Lexi's adorable Ash, I knew I had to go that route. I've had this kitty print for quite a while now and it just needed that special outfit!
The second thing I changed is the length of the shorts. The pattern has a full length and shorts option and I ended up cutting off about 4 more inches from the shorts.
The last thing I did was change it into a tie back and fully lined the bodice.
Little miss Paisley helped me sew it up (Jude tried, but kept running his car into my sewing machine - stinker).
She loves the kitties and would not stop twirling in this. Just goes to prove, you don't need a dress to twirl!
It turned out perfect!
Thanks Celina for such a wonderful pattern!
Your little model looks super adorable in her kitty jump suit :)
