Organic Cotton Plus Review

Today I'm reviewing some lovely knit from Organic Cotton Plus. I have a confession to make too. This is the first organic cotton I have ever used. I know, I know, but lovely fabric is harder to come by when the closest fabric store is over an hour away!
Although I got these items for free, all of the opinions stated are my own.

I was sent a yard of Butterscotch Interlock, along with some Swedish Tracing Paper (again another first!), as well as some canvas fabric that I'll be talking about tomorrow.
The Swedish Tracing Paper is a complete game changer. Especially since I have to adjust every pattern I make for every single child, not to mention myself when I actually get around to making clothing for myself...
This has made adjusting the patterns so easy. I haven't had a chance to sew it up yet, but it's very durable and having that option is amazing. It's absolutely going to be a staple in my sewing notions from now on.

So back to the Butterscotch Interlock. I chose to make the Mini Hudson's for Zoe and now I am really hoping that I have just enough left to make myself a pair as well. They are so incredibly soft and Zoe kept mentioning how super comfy they were. I think it's the perfect weight for these little shorts.

The shirt is a Blue Ribbon Dress hack and I used the Butterscotch Interlock for the neck binding. I was so excited that this fabric matched so well!

This fabric has also held up wonderfully in the wash. I didn't notice any fading nor any shrinking which is huge for knits!

I have my eye on these other interlocks:

They would be so cute for the billion other Mini Hudson's I have planned!
I want to say a huge thank you to Cotton Organic Plus for having me review. I wasn't sure what to expect with the Swedish Tracing Paper, and it really deserves all the raves it gets, along with the organic cotton. Now if I could just convince them to open shop where I live.....
