I love making my kids clothes and I try to make the majority of them. Since the weather is about to change, I jumped on board with the Back to School sewing.
My kids are homeschooled, but they still need awesome clothes!
There's also a giveaway, so make sure to head over to Rebel & Malice after reading!
For my color palette I went with mustard, navy, grey, black, and cream.
I made 4 shirts, 4 pants and 3 outerwear. His shoes are from Zulily and Freshly Picked.
I'll start with my favorite designer and the one who's being spotlighted this week, Titchy Threads. Jude HAD to get pair of Small Fry Skinny Jeans. I just so happened to have a pair of mustard corduroys to upcycle. I love how professional this pattern is, with the flat felled seams and zip fly. The zip fly is optional but I've never made a pair of jeans without it. I just think it's the coolest thing.
Blank Slate Patterns Hipster Henley. Fabric from my stash.
And of course, the Mini Hudsons by True Bias.
For outerwear I made the Dragon Vest by Puperita Patterns. Fabric from Girl Charlee.
The Slouchy Cardigan by Heidi & Finn. Fabric from my stash.
Lastly, we have the Lumberjack Shirt from Pattern for Pirates.
