I adore a-line dresses and leggings for the fall! So when a friend said, "Hey! Sign up for this tour!" I knew exactly what I wanted to make.
For the top I chose Jocole's A-line Shift Tunic & Dress. I made the tunic length size 6 and went with contrast sleeves. Paisley chose the Grey Jersey from Phat Quarters fabric (seriously my favorite fabric shop!) and said she wanted a "bunny dress".
The A-line dress was perfect to do some free motion applique, so I used the Bunny from the Bubble Pets from Stitch Art Designs. Paisley again chose for her bunny to be black and it turned out adorable.
For the pants I used Jocoles Basic Knit Leggings.
I did adjust these quite a bit. A few weeks ago one of my friends showed me this adorable picture of leggings with little animal faces on the knee, and I just had to try it.
I cut the leggings pattern in half and then marked where the knee would go on the front and cut a curve above that. I then just cut out random bunny ear shaped ears and circles for eyes to FMA on. I know they aren't perfect, but I think they turned out perfect for this look!
My little miss Paisley sure loves them and tried to wear them 2 days in a row. Silly girl!
