I'm so excited to be joining the Monaluna Wanderlust tour today! I got to meet Jennifer, the owner of Monaluna, at Quilt Market this last May along with seeing and feeling all of the amazing prints in this line. It was love at first sight and I couldn't wait for this tour! There's also 3 awesome giveaways, so make sure to read to the end and enter!

If you haven't heard of Monaluna, you need to check them out. They are a small independent organic fabric company that prints their designs on premium 100% organic cotton. They come out with 4-6 fabric lines a year and all are just as wonderful as this line.
Because the fabric is made using a high thread count it's incredibly soft and a dream to sew with. I have a million projects I would love to make with this line. Namely a quilt for my bed.
Although I was given this fabric for free, all opinions are my own.
Since the prints and colors are just as perfect for boys as they are for girls, I chose to make Jude an outfit for my look. I made the Boy's Linen Shirt & Boy's Shorts from Stitch Wear Play, 20 Charming Patterns for Boys & Girls.
The Sky Poplin looks so wonderful paired with the Dusk Poplin print and the weight is just perfect for a Spring/Summer outfit!
You can also check out the whole collection at Monaluna.

ReplyDeleteI love this short with this fabric. It is such a perfect match! Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me so much of the sweet little boys' outfits I see in other countries. This is such an innocent look. I don't always get as excited as I should to sew for my son, but you have definitely showcased that sewing for our little men can be just as breathtaking!
