Riley Blake Designs - Sweet Baby Girl

Spring used to be my uncontested favorite season ever. I'm now more of a Fall girl, but spring still holds a place in my heart. I love hearing the world come back out of it's deep sleep and seeing something I swore was dead, suddenly jump back to life. It's a pretty magical time of the year!
And of course, one of my favorite things about Spring is jumping back into sewing fun warmer weather clothes!

The line I'm highlighting today is Sweet Baby Girl by Lori Whitlock and how adorable is it??!
I love the sweet little animals and dainty florals! It's the perfect line for a new baby, but there are enough prints in there to also work really well for the older crowd too!
I went with Sweet Baby Girl Garden in White knowing it would make the perfect vintage spring dress!

The dress is a vintage pattern by Marian Martin. The pattern number is 9041. I couldn't find a date on when this pattern was printed, I was just lucky that I have an awesome friend (Angie Burgett) who let me borrow the pattern to make for Paisley.

One of my favorite things about this pattern is the circle skirt. Look at the twirl on it!

I used bias trim to finish the hem since Paisley is quite tall and I wanted as much length as I could get! It makes such a lovely finish!
I still can't get over this floral print. It really is perfect for this dress!

What would you make with this line?
Keep an eye out at Riley Blake Designs for more inspiration from this line!
