Momma Quail Pattern Tour

Today we're joining the Momma Quail Pattern Tour!
Zoe & Paisley have each gotten a few items made out of this awesome Art Gallery Paporounes Crimson knit fabric that I bought from Phat Quarters, so it was time for Aevs to get some of it's awesomeness too!

I adore t-shirts and love when patterns have a twist. I love the uniqueness of the Jackalope Tee and knew it would be perfect for my growing monkey and one that all the girls will love to wear.
The pattern pieces all came together perfectly. I'll be honest, I glanced through the instructions but I didn't exactly follow them. I'm a rebel that way! I have to say I love that Amy's patterns have a 3/8" seam allowance. I never realized what a seam allowance snob I was, but I totally am.

I paired this Paparounes fabric with solid navy knit, again from Phat Quarters. I love that break up of the floral knit. I did deviate slightly from the pattern by hemming the sleeves instead of adding a cuff. The sleeves are the perfect length for her! If you didn't notice, she was having a little too much fun in this photoshoot. Oh the faces this child pulls!

You can use the code: MQPATTERNTOUR to get 30% off Momma Quail Patterns through November 21, 2015!
We got the Hobbes Hooded Jacket and I can't wait to make it for Jude!
