Riley Blake Designs - Gem Stones

I'm sure anyone with a tween knows how hard it is to find patterns that work with their style. My Aevs has already told me she's way over dresses, but I am so glad these two still love to wear them! Although I myself don't like to wear dresses either (I was always in a tree as a kid!) I absolutely love how feminine and sweet they are! The Gem Stone line by Riley Blake Designs is such a fun line to give a bigger impact to a simple dress!

Let's start with Zoe's dress. I made the Little Lizard King Delray that just came out. If this had come out last year I know Aevarie would have been head over heels for it! The ruching and cut out add some really fun elements to this dress. It's just perfect for summer!

Zoe chose Gem Stones Tonal Pear for her dress. She adores the color green. It may have something to do with her eye color.....

Paisley's favorite color (along with Aevarie's so it makes it difficult sometimes) is blue, so Paisley chose Gem Stones Neutral Nightfall.  I went with another Little Lizard King Sorrento but did a gathered skirt rather than a circle so I could keep the light to dark of the fabric.

I just love the gradient of these prints! And the diamonds look like perfect little confetti, so she's already to party!

I know this line would be amazing for fabric art quilts and I'm hoping to try it! Paisley really wants a blue elephant quilt using that technique, so I'm wanting that to be my first project!

What's your favorite print in this line?
