I have a new baby nephew on the way! It's been quite some time since a baby was born in our family and I'm more than excited to make all the baby things!
Riley Blake Designs newest line, Fossil Rim 2, is absolutely perfect for a little baby boy!
I chose to make the Craftsman Quilt pattern because it showcases the prints so well! I spent far more time on the quilting than I did piecing it together!
I hand quilted this out of Lori Holt Chunky Thread in Butterscotch, Honey, and Linen. This is the second quilt I've hand quilted and I had quite a blast doing it! I've still got a lot to learn, but I had a lot of fun trying out different patterns.
I used Gray Blossom for the back. It complimented the colors in this line so well! The binding is Terrain in Navy.
It's perfect and all ready for my nephew that's due in a few months!
